1988-1992 Yamaha YZ250 Clutch Basket
Mitaka clutch baskets are CNC machined from 7075 T6 billet alloy and hard anodised. The hard anodised surface helps to increase wear resistance. Hard anodising also creates a low friction surface which helps to reduce clutch engagement and disengagement pressure. 7075 T6 alloy has a greater tensile strength and hardness than mild steel!
These baskets are also up to 30% lighter than the stock basket on some models reducing rotating mass.
Mitaka baskets are supplied with the fittings necessary for each bike.
